Suicidal Jump?

With depression, Jim looks through the dirty window on the top floor of a 50-foot skyscraper and without hesitation, opened it and jumped through. There was nothing to stop his fall or to cushion it. When Jim landed, he was neither injured or hurt and no, not dead. How did he survive his fall?
