Dying message

One day, a woman was found murdered. She had been coming from the bathroom when she was stabbed. She then made it into her room in time to write a dying message: '?' written in her own blood. The only people at the time around were:
George Creoley, her son. Heard the screams first.
Jaine Neme,her sister. Was just about to go away in her car.
Mark Seagul,her doctor. Searched her body for clues.
Danny Crailey, her husband. was having lunch at the time.
Who did it? How do you know?

I will say Mark Seagul. Because what he was doing at that time ? Did he know that she was going to be murdered ? A question mark may also indicate searching for clues that is answering the questions..
