two burglars enter a wealthy neighborhood late one night and take everything they could get there hands on. a policeofficer is upset with what he see's but does nothing about it.why not

maybe there is [hide]nothing they can get their hands on, and so they don't end up taking anything? the police officer is unhappy that they tried to take something, but can't do anything about it since they didn't actually take anything[/hide]

It may Happen that. There is nothing in the house that they could get their hands on.So, The policeofficer is upset because he can't do anything unless they could get their hands on anything.
