One day a reporter heard of a big murder that recently came in at the town of Briceton from a friend. He had not heard of any deaths in that town, but his source has always been truthful, so he decided to investigate. So he called ahead to the town police station to get some information, but to his surprise the police officer said, "No one's been killed in this town in ages. It's quite the peaceful town, folks round hear worry more 'bout all them birds rather than some made up murder case." Afterwards the reporter asked his friend why he lied to him, but the friend didn't lie. How can it be true?
